Dr. Dulin Clark

I have been a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania for 19 years and I opened my practice in Hollidaysburg 12 years ago . I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Penn State University in 1999 and for 6 years I worked as a counselor and psychologist in the counseling centers at University of Pittsburgh and University of Delaware. I have also served as Affiliate Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology in the APA approved Counseling Psychology program at Penn State University where I instructed and supervised doctoral students.

My theoretical approach integrates cognitive behaviorism, humanism, and positive psychology. I believe it is important to explore the patterns in thinking and behaving that we have learned and repeated over time. Personal insight constitutes a large part of my work. The identification and expression of feelings is important for developing greater insight and intuition. I also believe in the integration of healthy lifestyle changes into our therapy. These changes are different for every person but commonly address sleep, exercise, nutrition, relationships, community, vocation and spirituality.

Most importantly, my relationship with my clients is based on trust, caring, respect, and complete confidentiality. I look forward to getting to know you.
